Ray, a qualified full time mountain bike coach is the MIAS provider. He has mountain biked extensively in the UK and Europe.

Ray is an approved mountain bike training course provider for the Ministry of Defence, Police Service, Fire Service, Ford Motor Company, Jaguar Cars, Land Rover, BT, and many schools & youth training organisations and holiday companies throughout the UK and overseas.

Ray also holds the following relevant qualifications -

  • Teaching Certificate in Further and Adult Education (Cert. Ed) (University of Manchester)
  • Teaching Certificate for further and adult education. (City & Guilds)
  • N.V.Q. Assessors Certificate (City & Guilds)
  • Mountain Bike Specific First Aid Certificate

His successful reputation in mountain bike coaching, is both well know and well documented. Ray has featured in Mountain Bike Rider (MBR) magazine, Mens Health magazine, The Times, Outdoor Enthusiast magazine and the UK's best selling health magazine Healthy.
